Ioannis Georgoulas is an Independent Non-Executive Director with extensive experience across banking, investment firms, payment institutions and financial regulation in Europe. He currently serves on the boards of several regulated financial institutions, including Société Générale Bank Cyprus and EcommBX and chairs or serves as a director of leading fintech and investment firms. Previously a Board Member of CySEC, he contributed to MiFID II, AML regulation and risk-based supervision. A Certified Director from INSEAD and certified form the Chartered Banker Institute, he also holds qualifications in sustainable finance, business and technology. He chairs the Association of Cyprus Electronic Money and Payment Institutions and serves on the Board of AmCham Cyprus.
